So sorry I couldn’t make it up to Tam’s funeral. Even though we are cousins I only met him a couple of times but I have a lovely memory of him taking up to his flat because I was into David Bowie and we sat around laughing, listening to music and he tried to convince me that Marc Bolan was better than Bowie. A couple of weeks later he sent me a tape (yes, a good old fashioned cassette) of some Bowie stuff he put together that I hadn’t heard. Damn near wore that tape out.

Tam was my best pal for 57yrs and I’m going to miss him. But I’m sure we’ll meet up again, somewhere in the cosmos.
